LMS Grade Pushback Update
Based on instructor feedback, we are making a few changes to the grade pushback functionality for TimelyGrader. A couple of common feedback items that we are tackling:
First up: an improved Manage Submissions table. A common pain point was that after importing new submissions from students who'd already been graded, instructors couldn't easily tell which grades needed updating.
Now, we will clearly flag when there is a discrepancy between the two grades.
Alongside the updated columns, we also added multi-select for student submissions so you can select which students you want the grades to be passed back.
The pop up has also updated options to allow for a more selective grade push back. If specific submissions are selected, then we will only push the grades for those students.
Push Missing Entries: This is similar to Push Missing Grades but we’ve cleaned up the explanation.
Update Existing Entries: This is a new way to push grades back and allows instructors to update entries that currently exist on the Gradebook. If your students receive a placeholder grade, you will be using this feature to update grades.
Lastly, we also added validation and a sanity check mechanism for instructors. Any errors, like below where there is no matching submissions, can be detected.
